When it comes to diving, it's not just physical fitness, equipment and training that count. An often overlooked but essential factor is proper nutrition. Ensuring that the body receives the right nutrients can make a big difference to both safety and performance while diving. Let's take a closer look at why a healthy diet is so important for divers.

Energy and Endurance: Diving can be physically demanding, especially when swimming against currents or carrying heavy equipment. To maintain energy levels and avoid fatigue, it is important to eat a diet rich in complex carbohydrates, proteins and healthy fats. Whole grains, lean meats, fish, nuts and seeds are good choices as they provide a sustained release of energy.
